This project explores the interplay between language, identity, and cultural loss in translation through a multi-sensory immersive installation.”


 This project explores how communication across languages shapes and alters identity, highlighting the loss of cultural context during translation. Using a “Telephone Game” methodology with analog and digital media, it creates a multi-sensory immersive installation divided into four parts.

Arranged in a circular setup, the installation symbolizes the loop of translation and misinterpretation. Inspired by The Blind Men and the Elephant, it visually, audibly, and tactilely reimagines this concept.

The work demonstrates that while translation fragments identity, it also retains traces of the original, creating space for a new sense of identity to emerge.
